Way Out West

I know its been a little while since ive updated and i apologize. Ive been having loads of technical difficulties.
But as far as Los Angeles goes, its been alot of fun. Graham and I are finally starting to feel settled in and now we both have jobs. Im working at a mail/shipping shop and he works at a frozen yogurt shop. They're both shit jobs but whatever.

I went and attended my first gallery show at Kendall's in downtown which was pretty gnarly. The gallery was filled with print work that was thrown up on a brick wall and then painted over. Some band played a show, and they were actually pretty good. They reminded me of The Raincoats.
After that Matt took Lauren and I back to her apartment where we went party hopping. One room was the roaring 20's party, which was packed with people and had a bar inside. I felt kind of out of place because I didn't know anyone and was pretty much in awe because I was at a real party in downtown.
So here's the point where I lose track of where everyone is at and basically get lost for a while. To make the rest of the story short, I met back up with Matt and Lauren and went to another room, hung out for a bit, and then eventually took a cab home.
Everything seems very surreal to me and super exciting. Ill be sure to start bringing my camera with me more and take on the role of the tourist from Michigan.

The pictures are the last ones from headin out west and the beginning of our days in LA.
